I took a deep dive into science fiction and all things space with Project Hail Mary! Many of you have probably heard of this book already—especially since Andy Weir is a New York Times bestselling author best known for writing The Martian.
I was so excited to read something sci-fi, and wow—Andy Weir truly takes you into a whole other world. His level of creativity in this book deserves serious applause. He doesn't just create a fantasy setting; he makes it feel scientifically plausible. Every twist and turn is backed by real scientific reasoning that makes the most outlandish scenarios feel realistic.
Imagine my joy when, just this past week, the trailer for the movie version of Project Hail Mary dropped, starring none other than Ryan Gosling! It's going to be so fun to see it on the big screen, but I highly recommend reading the book first. The level of detail and complexity in the novel just can't be replicated in a two-hour film. We’re truly inside Dr. Grace’s mind in the book in a way that a movie can’t fully capture.

—> Short Synopsis:
Dr. Ryland Grace wakes up in space with amnesia, slowly piecing together why he's there. We learn he’s on a desperate mission to save Earth from an invasive species that is killing the sun. Don’t worry—this isn’t much of a spoiler; you find it out in the very first chapter!
From there, the book delivers twists and turns right up until the very end. It’s not just a space adventure, but a story full of moral questions that really make you reflect: Would I risk my own life to save others? It's definitely a page-turner that I couldn’t put down!
I highly recommend Project Hail Mary for your next read—especially if you’re in the mood for something that’s smart, immersive, and out of this world.
